Overview
Identity Management Services provide a wide range of user identity and account offerings, covering all aspects of identity creation, management, and auditing for entities (human users, applications, devices, etc.) accessing Penn’s digital resources. These functions are currently provided through features of Penn Community, Penn Directory, PennNames, Kerberos, Grouper, and other utilities/technologies within ISC.
Offerings
- Penn Community – Penn employee biographic, demographic, and affiliation information
- Penn Directory – Customizable, secure contact info for staff and students
- PennGroups – Electronic management and provisioning of access to Penn resources
- PennKey – Username and password for secure access to Penn’s electronic resources
- PennNames – Unique username to each individual at Penn
