2015 Evaluation Team: Wireless Projection/Collaboration

Overview

The Wireless Projection/Collaboration evaluation team has been tasked with evaluation and benchmarking of available wireless projection and collaboration technologies with the goal being to identify a solution that meets common needs at the University. The evaluation will include input regarding both networking infrastructure and security concerns.

Scope and charges are to assess wireless projection technologies and determine the level of interest in adoption across campus, for both classrooms and meeting spaces.

Evaluation teams are expected to refine the scope and then pursue research and/or testing as appropriate based on the goals and expected deliverables. Teams that are asked to evaluate and recommend products should define requirements and selection criteria, develop a test script, identify candidate products and technologies, do testing, present findings, and make recommendations to IT Roundtable. The teams also will maintain web sites to enable others to stay informed regarding their progress, and will create draft documentation for LSPs and end users as appropriate.
