We are writing to inform you that changes are coming to the AirPennNet-Device wireless network. This is targeted for campus-wide release on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 and will replace Penn’s current AirPennNet-Device wireless network. AirPennNet-Device is a wireless network that is intended for devices such as Amazon Echo, Kindles, gaming consoles, door locks, temperature monitors and more. AirPennNet-Device is currently only in residence halls.

Overview of Changes
- New Web Portal for Device Registration
- Access to the registration portal will require pennkey authorization
- Self-register up to 5 devices
- Delegated administration of devices by School/Center
- New wireless network with enhanced security and simple configuration
- PSK Encryption
- Private IP address routable within PennNet
- Internet Access via NAT
- Eliminate Wireless IoT certificates
- Device enforcement
