Apptio

ISC uses Apptio, an IT financial management tool used to break down costs by service, project, and application.

Bill of IT

Apptio’s Bill of IT is an automated billing system that consolidates invoices into one easy-to-use combined interface. The system generates compressive, accurate bills at the midpoint of each month. It combines invoices for services, applications and projects (if applicable). Bill of IT is replacing the cumbersome manual process previously used, i.e., sending emails with attached spreadsheets at different times (monthly, quarterly, annually) for different services.

Benefits

  • View and manage bills, drill down on invoices, and quickly export data to Microsoft Excel for further review and analysis
  • Receive important summary data and trends, such as YTD invoiced amount for top five services, applications and projects (if used) through a robust graphical dashboard
  • Forecast service usage and costs, facilitating planning and budgeting

Request Access to Apptio’s Bill-of-IT?

Before you can use Bill of IT, you need to complete the Request Apptio Access Form After ISC receives your request and sets up your account, you will receive an email with instructions on how to use Bill of IT.

Creating Transparency

By providing a much broader and in-depth view to ISC finances, the organization is creating an environment of transparency and accountability. Client bills will reflect actual costs, and accurately tie costs and revenue. We have also kicked off an IT technology investment committee to help look at funding ISC’s major investments.
